If you’re truly serious about a fitness career, then Recertify for Life makes a lot of sense for you. NASM certifications must be renewed every two years. This includes credentials such as Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach , and Certified Sports Nutrition Coach, and AFAA's Group Fitness Instructor .

You can recertify up to one year from the expiration date of your certification, but only if all the required CEUs have been completed within 90 days of the expiration date. A late fee is charged for applications received up to 90 days post expiration.

After the 90 days, an additional fee is charged, and the recertification application must be received before one year after credential expiration.
