The department of Recreational Services is offering two fitness prep courses for personal training and group fitness instruction. Both are meant to provide hands-on skills and the foundational information to pass the national examination.
School Summary
The department of Recreational Services at Kansas State University is offering NASM-CPT and AFAA-GFI prep courses for our K-State community. Our goal is to help prepare participants for the NASM and AFAA exams and a career in fitness. Job placement assistance available.
Programs:
NASM-CPT and AFAA-GFI prep course meeting twice weekly for a duration of five weeks in the summer and eight weeks during the long semesters. Meetings times will be based on participant availability. Majority of hands-on training and mentorship with some online instruction depending on the semester. Job placement assistance available.
