NASM CPT
Mt. Hood Community College is a two-year academic institution located in Gresham, Oregon which is an eastern suburb of Portland. We offer over 130 Transfer, Career and Technical Programs, and Community Education opportunities.
Mt. Hood partners with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to provide our Fitness Technology Certificate (FTC) program to individuals who want to make a positive impact in the fitness industry after one year. The FTC program also works within the Physical Education/Exercise and Sport Science two-year transfer curriculum for those who want to continue their education in the exercise science discipline.
Type of Degree or Diploma Offered:
MHCC offers Associates of Arts and Science degrees along with professional and vocational certificates. In addition, we work with several university partners to offer various Degree Partnership Programs where you can work towards a bachelor’s degree on campus.
Programs:
The Fitness Technology Certificate (FTC) program works with NASM to progress students towards earning a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certificate. We are excited to continue our partnership with NASM as we plan on offering more credential opportunities.
