The Fitness and Wellness department within TTU Recreational Sports is offering the Raider Fitness Institute to students, staff, and alum of Texas Tech University. This consists of two separate classes, both geared to help you kick start your career in the fitness industry. The department has collaborated with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and AFAA (Athletics Fitness Association of America), and will be offering courses at a heavily discounted price in order to bring the best, and most affordable education possible.

Raider Fitness Institute Graduate Certificate
Students are prepared to take their NASM credentialing exams and it is included as part of the program:
NASM CPT — Certified Personal Trainer
AFAA GX— Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Graduates receive 4 credentials: Certificate of Completion, NASM-CPT certification or AFAA-GX Group Fitness Instructor Certification, NASM Certificate of Academic Distinction (upon passing CPT Exam), CPR certification./p>
