Instructions to Access Your Course: (NOTE: The online access code on the front cover of the textbooks is NOT part of the course. You are NOT required to access this content).

  1. Go to www.afaa.com
  2. Click on “My Account” (located at the top right hand corner of your screen)
  3. Enter Your AFAA Account Username: email address
  4. Enter Your AFAA Account Password: Your password will be sent out to you within 24-48 hours (NASM Account Information email). If you did not receive it or need a new password, please use the “Forgot Password?” function on the Log in Page.
  5. Click on the “eLearning Center”
  6. Locate and select your course.

Scheduling, Canceling, or Changing Your Workshop Session

  • If your purchase includes a workshop, you will receive an email within 1 business day of placing your order. This email will provide instructions on how to register for the Workshop session (date and location) that you wish to attend.
  • Please note that you must schedule your workshop session to guarantee your spot in a specific workshop session.
  • The registration center allows you to change your Workshop Session (location) as many times as you wish up until one week of a Workshop Session. If you choose to change your session within that one week of the workshop date, you will need to contact member services at 800-460-6276 opt #3 and pay a transfer fee.

Workshop Handout Note: You will find your workshop handout in your confirmation email after you select a session. You will need to print the Workshop Handout and bring it with you to the Workshop as it will not be provided at the Workshop.

You may cancel your enrollment.

You may cancel your program within thirty (30) days of your enrollment as long as you have not attempted exam, attended a Workshop or Live Event, or viewed more than two on-line lessons.

  • An administrative fee (equal to 10% of the program tuition) applies to all cancellations.
  • Shipping and handling fees are not refundable at any time.
  • All refunds will be made in the same form as the payment.

You can check the expiration date for the test by accessing your eLearning center here NASM CPT 5 EXAM At the bottom of the box you will see a green clock and the expiration date will be in red. You have 180 days from the date of purchase to take the exam.

Steps to getting started with your Guided Program:

  1. Log into nasm.org and select the 'eLearning Center’.
  2. You will need to select the start date for your Guided Study session. Click on the button labeled 'SELECT/CHANGE SESSION' and select the session start date that you would like to participate in.
    • You must select a start date to be enrolled in an Guided Study session.
    • You can change your selection at any time until the Friday prior to the session start date.
    • Only sessions that start in the next 45 days will be available for selection.
  3. Please read through the course syllabus and watch the course navigation video once you log in.

(If your purchase includes the CPT Development Program or CPT Development Program Powered by Life Time Academy)

  • In order to utilize your 8 week, 80 hour CPT Development Program, you must first pass your CPT exam. Once you have passed your exam, you will have 90 days to contact NASM at [email protected], or by calling your NASM Success Coach to get set up with a location. ***NASM will then have 30 days (from the date the student contacts us upon completing their CPT and the student code of conduct) to place the student with a Host Facility.***
  • For customers who have purchased the CPT Development Program Powered by Life Time Academy, NASM-CES and PES Powered by Life Time Academy, you will be contacted by a representative from Life Time Academy within a few weeks of your selected start date.
  • If you have any questions regarding the CPT Development Program or the CPT Development Program Powered by Life Time Academy please email: [email protected] or call your NASM Success Coach.

For purchases of the NASM-CES and PES Powered by Life Time Academy, you will be contacted by a representative from Life Time Academy within a few weeks of your selected start date.

A debit or credit card is required for the installment plan which will consist of the purchased product, all non-refundable shipping and handling fees, along with sales tax.

  • The card on file will be automatically charged on the same date each month for agreed amount until payment has been made in full. Please refer to docusign agreement for full payment schedule.
  • Installment plans have 0% interest for the term.
  • NASM is not responsible for any bank fees that accrue (i.e. insufficient fund fes).
    **INSTALLMENT PLAN DATES AND AMOUNTS CANNOT BE MODIFIED FOR ANY REASON**

Declined Installments

  • If for any reason a scheduled installment payment declines, the online account will be suspended and the member will be unable to access or complete any online material, quizzes or exams until FULL payment is received, processed, and approved.
  • A $50.00 late payment fee will be added to any declined installments.
  • If you are delinquent on your second installment, NASM reserves the right to make your subsequent payments due immediately.
  • Any balances outstanding after 60 days will be referred to a collection agency.
  • NASM has the right to reject any order and/or to limit quantities on any order, for any reason at its sole discretion.
